The Compagnie Africaine de Peinture (CAP), specialized in the manufacturing and distribution of paint coatings in Tunisia, was created in 1978 and is owned by the Cherif Group. CAP is the market leader in Tunisia car refinish coatings. It also produces coatings designed for decorative and industrial uses and distributes imported coatings and equipment for car refinishes through its two affiliates GPA and ACS. CAP is also the main shareholder in MPC Prokim, the Maghreb leader in the manufacturing of resins and glue.
