Labinal (a major supplier for Airbus) acquired Gespac Maroc (GM), which was a subsidiary of Gespac Systems, in 2003. The Systems Group Gespac was a designer and supplier of electronic solutions for operators in the aviation (Airbus), space (Astrium), rail (Alstom and Bombardier), and medical (ABS) industries. The group Gespac systems employed nearly 800 people spread over 3 manufacturing sites in Morocco (half staff) and 4 sites in France at the end of 2003.
