Rafik Mzah is Chief Legal Officer of the AfricInvest Group. Before joining AfricInvest, Rafik was an Associate lawyer at Cleary Gottlieb Steen & Hamilton LLP in Paris, where his practice focused on corporate and financial matters, particularly mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions. Rafik graduated from the Ecole Supérieure de Sciences Economiques et Commerciales (ESSEC) Business School in Paris. He received a Master in Business Law and a Master in Financial, Banking and Capital Markets Law from the University of Paris 1 Panthéon Sorbonne. Rafik is a member of the Paris Bar and of the Legal and Regulatory Committee of the African Private Equity & Venture Capital Association (AVCA).
