Mr. Brahim Anane spent the most part of his career at the Société Tunisienne de Banque (STB) from 1965 to 1982, where he held the position of General Manager.Mr. Anane was member of the Board of Directors of different Banks in Tunisia, France, Lebanon, Niger and Mauritania. From 1982 to 1992, he held the position of General Manager of an industrial group operating in mechanics, electronics, chemistry, tourism and packaging.

Mr. Anane has run his own advisory company in 1992. During his career, he participated to the setup and structuring of more than a hundred new companies, in Tunisia and in sub-Aaharan Africa.

He also participated in the creation of the Africa Venture Capital Association (AVCA) and was elected as its first President.

Mr. Anane is graduated from the Institut des Hautes Etudes Commerciales (IHEC) of Tunis, and was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship for a Ph.D in Business Administration at the University of Berkeley (USA).

He has been on the investment committee of several AfricInvest funds.
