AfricInvest portfolio investments named in "Companies to Inspire Africa"

On March 31, The London Stock Exchange released a flagship publication entitled "Companies to Inspire Africa,” sponsored by CDC and AFDB http://www.lseg.com/resources/companies-inspire-africa. The report highlights "Africa’s most inspiring small and medium-sized enterprises,” including many of AfricInvest's portfolio companies. Two companies in particular, Kiboko and Medis, have received special features in the publication, noting their their strengths in the FMCG and healthcare sectors. The launch event consisted of AfricInvest's participation in the "opening bell” ceremony with other companies and sponsors, followed by a conference on the rise of African SMEs, presided over by the U.K. Secretary of State for International Development Priti Patel. Africinvest partner Skander Oueslati participated on a panel which focused on the role private equity can play in supporting and developing African SMEs.
